Member at Large: Andy Smith
Andy is a senior building engineer with AECOM and is past chair of the Solar Energy Society of Alberta. One of his areas of interest and focus is the advancement of solar greenhouse concepts for northern latitudes. He reminds us that local food production must still compete with trucking from southerly climes, but as energy costs continue their upward spiral, along with greenhouse gas emissions, local food sources will see significant growth. Andy has volunteered to act as our fundraising chair.
